It's tough to say what a metro Detroit sighting of this manufacturer-plated Alfa Romeo 159 TI Sportwagon portends for the Italian automaker's long-anticipated return to the American market--probably nothing. Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne's plan to bring Alfa Romeo back to the United States features the sporty, limited-edition 4C coupe, the subcompact MiTo and the midsize Giulia, but not the out-of-production 159. Still, a domestic sighting of a brand-new Alfa Romeo is a rare enough occurrence that we're happy to share these photos without further comment.
Nissan's seventh-generation Sentra has proved to be a successful model for the brand, with sales up 16.6 percent. It was announced today that the 2014 Sentra will start at $16,800 for the base model including destination, the same as the 2013 model. The 14 students graduating from the BA (Hons) Transportation Design course based in Newcastle in the north east of England have been exhibiting their work in their studios at Northumbria University as well as at the Lingotto building in Turin, Italy. The summer degree exhibitions were held in June. The work students exhibited comprises of either a major concept or evaluation project as well as competition work submitted early in the final year.
